Victoria has great realism, perfect imperfections, and incredible ease of use. Based on live human models she is trying to close the gap between real life and models typically seen in 3D environments like Second Life and The Sims. Since her first release in 1999, hundreds of thousands of unique users have downloaded a copy of Victoria making her the most heavily downloaded 3D figure ever! Victoria has been widely used by digital artists worldwide and has graced the covers of magazines, newspapers, and television across the globe.

What is your view on the coronavirus?

Siri Beerends: I really embrace the idea that viruses can teach us a lesson in modesty. It is necessary that our position as the dominant species on the planet is being challenged. I also agree that it is a mistake to think that we are becoming Gods. But unfortunately, this is actually what is happening now. Corona doesn’t teach us to be modest, it teaches us how we can -as quickly as possible- go back to business as usual: saving our capitalistic economy.
