Victoria 4.0

Arnoud van den Heuvel
May 20th 2007

Victoria has great realism, perfect imperfections, and incredible ease of use. Based on live human models she is trying to close the gap between real life and models typically seen in 3D environments like Second Life and The Sims. Since her first release in 1999, hundreds of thousands of unique users have downloaded a copy of Victoria making her the most heavily downloaded 3D figure ever! Victoria has been widely used by digital artists worldwide and has graced the covers of magazines, newspapers, and television across the globe. | related posts: Virtual Miss Germany | Playstation commercial | Second life prostitute

Should men be able to give birth to children?

Koert van Mensvoort: Is the artificial womb frankenstein-like symbol of (male) engineers trying to steal the magical womb from women? Or… is it a feminist project and needed to reach through equality between the sexes? I personally lean towards the latter. To me it feels like progress if a girl can tell a guy to carry the womb for a change.
