Digital trashcan

The TEMPO is a fake product with a real idea. As I am really neat and eager to clean up my digital desk I tend to throw away too much files. This digital trashcan copies the stuff you throw away and stores it in his (or her) own hard drive. You will loose files less often, but more importantly, it reminds me of chasing the garbage truck to get out that thing you didn't want to throw away.

Too bad it looks like a cup of noodles. Check the site.

What is your view on the coronavirus?

Siri Beerends: I really embrace the idea that viruses can teach us a lesson in modesty. It is necessary that our position as the dominant species on the planet is being challenged. I also agree that it is a mistake to think that we are becoming Gods. But unfortunately, this is actually what is happening now. Corona doesn’t teach us to be modest, it teaches us how we can -as quickly as possible- go back to business as usual: saving our capitalistic economy.
