With the exhibition Dream Out Loud - Designing for Tomorrow’s Demands, the Stedelijk museum in Amsterdam presents 26 artists and designers who all dream out loud about a better world and explore complex societal issues by means of design. Next Nature Network is well represented throughout the show; next to our In Vitro Meat Cookbook, NNN ambassador Daan Roosegaarde and NNN fellow Studio Drift are presenting their work.

The exhibition runs from 26 August 2016 until 1 January 2017.

Should men be able to give birth to children?

Koert van Mensvoort: Is the artificial womb frankenstein-like symbol of (male) engineers trying to steal the magical womb from women? Or… is it a feminist project and needed to reach through equality between the sexes? I personally lean towards the latter. To me it feels like progress if a girl can tell a guy to carry the womb for a change.
