KaraokeBot Sings Christmas Carols

December 24th 2016

A next nature Christmas looks as follows. We start by sending out augmented Christmas cards and then we build our very own Christmas tree. For the menu we turn to our In Vitro Meat Cookbook for an exquisite three-course meal accompanied with Nano Wine and amplify our senses with a Google Nose. After the banquet we gather around KaraokeBot, an AI system that generates and sings Christmas songs from the visual components of an uploaded image, and sing the night away. The holidays are filled with traditions, it is up to us to create new ones. Happy Christmas everybody!

Should men be able to give birth to children?

Koert van Mensvoort: Is the artificial womb frankenstein-like symbol of (male) engineers trying to steal the magical womb from women? Or… is it a feminist project and needed to reach through equality between the sexes? I personally lean towards the latter. To me it feels like progress if a girl can tell a guy to carry the womb for a change.
