NNN at STRP Biënnale 2017

Join us for this year’s edition of the STRP Biënnale and expect a future oriented experience of senses and sensors. With its fully packed program, the biennial includes an exhibition with interactive installations, performances, concerts, a two-day conference and masterclasses in and around Klokgebouw, at Strijp-S in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Among the participants: NNN director Koert van Mensvoort, fellows Floris Kaayk, Thought Collider (Mike Thompson and Susana Camara Leret), Chloé Rutzerveld and Leanne Wijnsma. Should men be able to give birth to children?


Koert van Mensvoort: Is the artificial womb frankenstein-like symbol of (male) engineers trying to steal the magical womb from women? Or… is it a feminist project and needed to reach through equality between the sexes? I personally lean towards the latter. To me it feels like progress if a girl can tell a guy to carry the womb for a change.
