WikiGalaxy

WikiGalaxy, by French engineering student Owen Cornec, is an interactive visualization of Wikipedia entries as a galaxy of stars, that transforms the online encyclopedia into a digital space map of articles.

Relevant articles are grouped together into clusters of stars, creating a constellation of human knowledge and turning 100.000 entries from the free encyclopedia into a digital nebula of human knowledge.

Users can explore with the galaxy map or fly through the stars in first person view, searching and readind articles in fullscreen, or scan through their links. A fascinating vehicle for travelling across the universe of information above us.
