If Mohammed won’t go to the sea, the sea must come to Mohammed! Typically scuba diving involves a journey to some exotic and expensive destination, but at the Sea Life Aquarium, located in a shopping center in Manchester, you can plunge in an underwater experience for just £60, without taking diving lessons and travelling halfway around the world.

Visitors can stand on the artificial seabed and swim in a tropical ocean tank containing 480,000 liters of water and 1,092 sea creatures, including rays, sharks and a giant turtle originally from the Cayman Islands, rescued from certain death. The attraction, opened in the beginning of June, is the first of its kind in Europe. Can we really consider this exploring the submarine world?

  • People have been doing some interesting things in shopping centers to bring in customers. When things like this are what they come up with, shopping can really become a much more fulfilling experience!
